The Vancouver City Business Directory is a single-file HTML application embedded in a Ghost 6.x CMS card. Stage 1 contains 10,000 licensed businesses. Subsequent stages will add batches until all 100,000+ Vancouver business licences are indexed.

Check Pending — Publisher → Pending tab. Review new submissions and edits. Approve, edit, or reject.

Website Finder — Run the finder for 1–2 neighbourhoods per day. Find and save websites for businesses that don’t have one yet.

SEO Workboard — Write SEO copy for 5–10 businesses. Filter by neighbourhood to work systematically through the city.

Backup — Sync & Data tab → Export JSON. Keep a dated backup. Push to JSONBin if working across multiple browsers.
7. Staging Strategy (100,000+ Records)
The Vancouver directory is being built in stages due to the volume of business licence data. Each stage adds a batch of records to the CSV array.

○ Stage 3
+30,000 businesses — expand to 60,000 total

Performance note: At 100,000 records, consider lazy loading or server-side search. The current single-file approach works well up to ~30,000 records in modern browsers. Beyond that, pagination and virtual rendering become critical.
