Vancouver, BC - After nearly seven years of construction, Oakridge Park is preparing to throw open its doors in Spring 2026, and Vancouver is ready. Developer QuadReal Property Group is introducing a sweeping concentration of global luxury, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands alongside a nine-acre park, civic amenities, public art, and the Time Out Market food hall — all on a single 28-acre site at Cambie and 41st Avenue.
The project transforms the former Oakridge Centre, once one of Canada's most profitable shopping destinations, into something far more ambitious. The redevelopment carries an estimated project cost of $6.5 billion and incorporates an integrated city park with a 1 km circular path, a community centre, luxury mall, theatre, library, large daycare, and performance venues. This isn't just a mall — it's a neighbourhood.
The retail lineup reads like a who's who of global fashion. Confirmed brands for the opening season include Loewe, Loro Piana, Valentino, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Thom Browne, and Acne Studios, with several of these marking their first standalone Vancouver locations. Italian fashion house Giorgio Armani will open a store alongside a Giorgio Armani Cafe — only the third such location in North America, after New York City and Orange County, according to the Daily Hive.
Food lovers also have plenty to anticipate. Time Out Market Vancouver will feature 18 kitchens, a dessert bar, a coffee shop, three bars, multiple event spaces, approximately 1,000 seats, and a large outdoor terrace overlooking the public park.
Public amenities — including the Oakridge community centre, a library, performance area, and childcare facility — carry an anticipated completion date of summer 2026. Vancouver has waited a long time for this moment. By all indications, Oakridge Park will deliver.
